B1251 Description
The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the Tire Pressure Sensor. The OBDII code is set by the BCM in continuous memory when attempting to train a Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) Warning Light ON sensor(s) with a low battery. The TPMS warning indicator flashes for 70 seconds and then remains on continuously when the ignition is turned to the ON position, and the message center displays TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR FAULT.
