Faulty Body Control Module (BCM),Body Control Module (BCM) harness is open or shorted,Body Control Module (BCM) circuit poor electrical connection

 

B1315 Description

 

When the parking lamps are on, the Body Control Module (BCM) provides voltage to the hardwired dimmable illumination sources based on the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) illumination messages sent to the BCM over the network. A continuous and on-demand Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) that sets when the BCM detects a short to ground from the backlighting output circuit. This DTC also sets when fuse has failed or is removed.
