B1399 Description
When the Body Control Module (BCM) enters a key programming state, it activates the transceiver to read the key in the ignition key cylinder. If a valid Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) key is used and there are no concerns with PATS, the key is programmed into the BCM memory. The OBDII code sets when there is an unprogrammed PATS key
