C0231 Possible Causes

Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM),Engine Control Module (ECM) harness is open or shorted,Engine Control Module (ECM) circuit poor electrical connection

C0231 Description

The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module monitors the Engine Control Module (ECM) signal. The ABS Module sets the OBDII code when the ECM signal is not to factory specifications.
