C1495 Description

 

The Drive Train Control Module (DTCM) monitors the Power Transfer Unit (PTU). The DTCM sets the OBDII code when it detects that the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) system voltage is below or above normal voltage, or an overheat condition due to excessive usage of components from hard driving conditions (Mud, Sand, Snow, 2WD Chassis dynamometer etc.) or ambient temperatures.
