C0456 – Steering Position Sensor Calibration Not Learned

C0456 Possible Symptoms

Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Warning Light ON,Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

C0456 Possible Causes

Steering Position Sensor Calibration,Faulty Steering Gear,Faulty Steering Position Sensor,Steering Position Sensor harness is open or shorted,Steering Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

C0456 Description

If the power steering control module is replaced, the calibration needs to be learned to the new power steering control module using a scan tool. If there is no communication with the power steering control module, replace the steering gear.
