C1317 Description

The Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Receiver Module monitors the TPMS Sensor. The TPM Receiver Module sets the OBDII code when the TPMS Sensor is not to factory specifications. This DTC indicates that the sensor has either failed to learn OR has successfully learned and the receiver did not receive messages from the learned sensor for 12 minutes.
