C1556 – Ride Height Air Pressure Sensor

 

C1556 Possible Symptoms

 

Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Warning Light ON,Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

 

C1556 Possible Causes

 

Faulty Ride Height Air Pressure Sensor,Ride Height Air Pressure Sensor harness is open or shorted,Ride Height Air Pressure Sensor circuit poor electrical connection,Faulty Air Suspension Control Module (ASCM)

 

C1556 Description

 

The Air Suspension Control Module (ASCM) monitors the Ride Height Air Pressure Sensor. The ASCM sets the OBDII code when the Ride Height Air Pressure Sensor is not to factory specifications while the ignition is in the Run position.
