P0263 Possible Symptoms

  Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light),Engine Misfire,Engine Run Rough,Low MPG  

P0263 Possible Causes

  Dirty Fuel Injector 1,Faulty Fuel Injector 1,Plugged Fuel Injector 1,Fuel injector 1 harness is open or shorted,Fuel injector 1 circuit poor electrical connection  

P0263 Description

  Code P0263 is triggered when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that the acceleration rate of the crankshaft for Cylinder 1 was less than a calibrated amount. During normal conditions, the ECM turns the Fuel Injectors ON and OFF in the Fuel Injection System.
