P063D Possible Causes

Faulty Alternator,Alternator harness is open or shorted,Alternator circuit poor electrical connection,Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

P063D Description

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the Generator (Alternator) voltage output. The PCM sets the OBDII code if the alternator output voltage is more than the Battery feed circuit voltage.
