P2282 Possible Causes

Unmetered air leaks between throttle body and intake valves,Air leaks at the intake manifold,Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system is leaking or the valve is stuck open

P2282 Description

The P2282 code sets when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects an air leak that exceeds a predetermined limit for greater than 5 seconds. If the air flow entering the engine exceeds the air flow through the throttle, a leak is detected and this diagnostic fails.
