The variable valve timing (VVT) system is used to improve engine’s performance, fuel economy or emissions. The ECM monitors the ‘A’ Rocker Arm Actuator Position Sensor and sets the OBDII when the ‘A’ Rocker Arm Actuator Position Sensor signal is out of factory specifications.
