P2692 Description

Each injector has a code stored in Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) that provides information to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) about deviations of that injector from a theoretical average injector. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) sets the OBDII code if the injector code is missing or invalid.
