P3042 Description

The Hybrid/EV Battery Interface Control Module will diagnose its own systems and determine when a fault condition is present. This diagnostic applies to internal microprocessor integrity conditions within the Hybrid/EV Battery Interface Control Module. This fault is internal to the Hybrid/EV Battery Interface Control Module and no external circuits are involved.
