Faulty Immobilizer Control Module,Immobilizer Control Module harness is open or shorted,Immobilizer Control Module circuit poor electrical connection,Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

U0167 Description

This fault code is stored in a control module when communication is lost or a message corrupt. Communication protocols have strict error handling processes for data transfer. If a module or a component which has the ability to communicate on the data bus returns a negative acknowledgement an error flag will be set and the module transmitting the erroneous data may become disconnected from the network.
