P1CB1 FIAT Description

 

This diagnostic checks for the proper response of the gear shift actuator 1st-3rd to the Transmission Controller Module (TCM) engage command. The gear shift actuator 1st-3rd is controlled by the TCM via the electrovalves PPV1 and PPV2. This diagnostic checks the position sensor 1st-3rd output to confirm that the gear shift actuator 1st-3rd has moved to the proper position when it is controlled by the TCM and that the gear has been engaged.
