P1DAE FIAT Description

The purpose of this Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is to detect a condition where the solenoid controlled Position Valve is stuck in the wrong position. The purpose of the Position Valve is to control the oil supply to the clutches and the parking lock. If the Position Valve is in the wrong position at engine startup, the Parking Lock will be disengaged. This Diagnostic runs once at engine startup.
