B2191 INFINITI Description

The ID verification is performed through the Body Control Module (BCM) and the Nissan Anti Theft System (NATS) Intelligent Key when the push-button ignition switch is pressed. The BCM prohibits the release of steering lock or start of engine when an unregistered ID of the NATS Intelligent Key is used. The OBDII code is set when the ID verification results between BCM and Intelligent Key are negative. The registration is necessary.
