  Faulty Transmission Speed Sensor,Transmission Speed Sensor harness is open or shorted,Transmission Speed Sensor circuit poor electrical connection  

P0717 HYUNDAI Description

  The Input Speed Sensor detects the primary pulley revolution speed and sends a signal to the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM sets the OBDII code when the Input Speed Sensor is out of factory specifications. Sensor Location: 1999-2006 Hyundai Sonata; 2001-2007 Hyundai Elentra; 2001-2007 Hyundai Santa Fe; 2001 Hyundai XG; 2002-2005 Hyundai XG350; 2003 Hyundai Tiburon; 2005-2009 Hyundai Tucson; 2006 Hyundai Azera; 2007 Hyundai Entourage
