The Transmission Control Module (TCM) monitors the Gear Shift Actuator P2 (PPV-1) (Engage Valve) and circuits for errors. If the TCM detects an error in the Gear Shift Actuator P2 (PPV-1) (Engage Valve) circuit, the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) will be set.
