Faulty Passenger-Side Air Bag Module,Passenger-Side Air Bag Module harness is open or shorted,Passenger-Side Air Bag Module circuit poor electrical connection,Faulty Restraints Control Module (RCM)

B1888 LINCOLN Description

The Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks Passenger-Side Air Bag Module circuit for shorts to ground by monitoring voltage at RCM harness connector. If RCM detects short to ground on either terminal, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1888 in memory and the Air Bag warning light.
