B2415 KIA Description

The Air Mix Actuator (Temperature actuator) located at the heater unit. It contains a temperature motor that changes temp door position and potentiometer that monitors the position of temp door. The Air mix actuator(Temperature actuator) regulates the temperature by the procedure as follows. The signal from the control unit adjusts the position of temp door by operating temp motor and then the temperature will be regulated by the hot/cold air ratio decided by the position of temp door. In operation, a potentiometer delivers temperature door position transformed into voltage value to A/C ECU.
